GREENWOOD, Ind. (March 8, 2015) — One of the biggest names in softball made a stop in Greenwood on Sunday.

Olympic gold medalist, Jennie Finch, held a special autograph session at Dick’s Sporting Goods at the Greenwood Park Mall.

Players were also invited to try out Mizuno’s new glove steamer, which breaks in new gloves in just a few minutes.

Finch has been working with Mizuno’s for decade and says the company helps fill a growing demand for girls’ softball equipment.

“When I was growing up I had to buy baseball equipment, and now these young girls can walk into a Dicks Sporting Goods and see isles of fast pitch only equipment,” Finch said. “So we’re excited. We’re super excited about this year’s line, and baseball/softball season is here!”

A number of activities are planned for baseball and softball experience week at Dick’s Sporting Goods which wraps up on March 15th.
