INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 22, 2015) —The runway is coming to Indianapolis.

Sunday marks the beginning of Indy’s Midwest Fashion Week. The event CEO and designer, Berny Martin, says he saw a need for an outlet to showcase local designers, models and photographers. Since starting the event in 2006, the show expanded. This week, fashion-lovers in our area can check-out several events.

“We have styling sessions, swag bags, after parties, a kids fashion show — something for everyone,” said Angela Khan, Director of Operations.

One the week’s events focuses on a healthy trend. Part of the proceeds from Midwest Fashion Week goes to Indy Yoga Movement, which helps bring yoga into schools. Besides showing-off some 'yogi' style, they're inviting everyone to ‘flow’ with them this Tuesday afternoon at 12:30 inside the Keystone Fashion Mall.
