Lafayette Police arrest two for meth lab at gas station

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (March 23, 2015) –Two people were arrested in Lafayette on Sunday evening after police found a meth lab at a gas station.

On Sunday evening the Lafayette Police Department received a call from a concerned citizen about two people possibly doing drugs near 9th Street and Ferry Street.

Police arrived at the Marathon gas station at that intersection and found two subjects in a vehicle parked in the gas station’s parking lot.

Police found an active meth lab, methamphetamine, synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team was called and the lab was dismantled.

The two suspects, identified as Michael Budde and Sabrina Allen were arrested and taken to the Tippecanoe County jail.

Allen was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and several other charges. Budde was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, visiting a common nuisance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
