INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 2, 2015)-- If you're headed downtown this weekend for the Final Four game or festivities, get ready to pack your patience and prepare to get creative with your travel plans. First, let someone else do the driving for you. Car services are trying to get all hands on deck to meet the need downtown.
"Uber supply is also dynamic so we're just focused on really letter drivers know its going to be a busy weekend and they can make a lot of money if they turn on the app and jump onto the platform," said Chris Nakutis, general manager of Uber Indiana
But beware with increased crowds expected--the normal Uber wait time and rate could increase.
"When you see increased demand, the dynamic pricing increases, which ensures that more drivers are going to come out. What you can be sure of is there's going to be transparency so you'll know exactly when dynamic pricing is in effect," said Nakutis.
And once you get downtown you can ditch the car and hop on a bike through the Pacers Bike Share program.
"It's $8 to access the system for a day if you keep the bike out longer than 30 minutes you get a $2 fee added. But that's the purpose to encourage the sharing of the bike. So soon as you get to another station you check it back in and your clock starts over," said Karen Haley with Indianapolis Cultural Trail Incorporated.
Out of town fans are already taking advantage of the bike share program. For Final Four weekend you can use the bikes until 3 a.m. instead of midnight. But if those options don't work for you, calling a cab is also an option. The Indianapolis Department of Code Enforcement has a set rate through licensed cab services.

The flat rate map should be posted in the back of all licensed cabs. The Department of Code Enforcement says if you have an issue with a cab driver during Final Four weekend call 317-327-TAXI.
