INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 9, 2015) - Another season of baseball begins at Victory Field Thursday night. The Indianapolis Indians will play the Columbus Clippers at 7:05. The team has plenty of activities planned for fans.

Before the game, fans are encouraged to ride their bikes - instead of cars - to the game for this year's "Bike to the Ballpark." Bike riders of all ages can participate in this fifth annual event. Mayor Greg Ballard will lead the riders through Indianapolis at 6 p.m. Indianapolis-based singer Josh Kaufman will be singing the national anthem and a fireworks show will wrap up the night.

The weather is a concern for the Thursday night game. A team spokesperson said they will be closely monitoring the radar and let fans know the status of the game.

Thursday night kicks off a 9-day home game stretch for the team.
