Pedestrian hurt after being struck on east side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (April 16, 2015) – A person was seriously hurt after being hit by a vehicle Thursday morning.

It happened in the 600 block of Washington Pointe Drive on the east side. That’s in the area of Washington Square Mall.

This is the third instance of a person hit by a vehicle on Thursday. A person was in serious condition after being hit near Shadeland Avenue and I-70 on the east side and an SUV struck a 12-year-old girl while she was boarding her school bus on the west side.
