Suspect accused in fatal shooting turns self in

(April 23, 2015) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police said Jameel Muhmmad turned himself him. He was wanted on a warrant for murder, robbery and carrying a handgun without a license.

Muhammad was taken to the Arrestee Processing Center.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 21, 2015)– Police are looking for a murder suspect after a man was shot and killed on April 10. Officers were called to a report of shots fired in the 3800 block of Bennett Drive, near West 38th Street and Moller Road, around 4:15 p.m.

Patrick Wilson, 66, was discovered with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was unresponsive and was pronounced dead shortly after.

Jameel Muhammad, 20, is wanted in connection with the murder. A warrant has been put our for Muhammad with charges of murder, robbery and carrying a handgun without a license.
