COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 22, 2015) – We’ve all been frustrated with computers that don’t work like they’re supposed to, but a Colorado man wasn’t about to use CTL + ALT + DELETE to fix his problem, reports KDVR.

Lucas Hinch, 37, was “fed up with fighting his computer for the last several months,” according to Colorado Springs Police. Hinch’s solution was even more severe than that Office Space scene where angry workers teed off on a troublesome printer—he shot the computer eight times.

“(Hinch) took the computer into the back alley and fired eight shots into it with a handgun, effectively disabling it,” police said.

Hinch was cited for discharging a firearm within city limits for the Monday night shooting.
