SANTA ANA, Calif. (April 27, 2015) – Twenty-five years ago, a police officer heard a noise coming from a dumpster while he investigated a different crime.
When he took a closer look, he found a newborn baby boy who’d been tossed away in the alley. Michael Buelna picked up the baby and rushed him to a paramedic.
The newborn—nicknamed “Baby Adam” at the time—grew up to become Robin Barton, who’s now 25 years old. He’s always wanted to meet the man who gave him a second chance at life.
Last week, Barton and his adoptive parents met with Buelna, who’s now retired.
