4.0 magnitude earthquake felt in West Michigan

WEST MICHIGAN, Mich. (May 2, 2015) — The National Weather Service confirmed West Michigan experienced an earthquake Saturday afternoon.

The USGS is reporting a 4.0 magnitude centered five miles south of Galesburg, MI occurred at 12:23 PM.

Many people are reporting on social media that they felt the earthquake, but there is no word about property damage at this time.
