Three injured after west side Indianapolis house fire

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 3, 2015) — Wayne Township fire officials say one person was transported to Eskenazi hospital after an early morning fire Sunday. Two more people were injured in their fire – Lieutenant Troy Wymer says the victims’ injuries range from slight to serious.

Crews responded to the fire on the 3600 block of Creston Drive just before 8:30 AM. Heavy smoke was showing when they arrived on scene.

The Indianapolis Fire Department and Speedway Fire Department assisted with fighting the fire. The cause is still under investigation.
