SEATTLE (May 3, 2015) — It looked like the scene of a dunk gone horribly wrong!

Seattle Police told KOMO that a shirtless man with a hammer somehow climbed up a basketball hoop at a Seattle park and got stuck.

Nearly a dozen police officers looked on as the man then began thrashing around trying to free himself. At times, he was dangling just by his stuck foot.

Police were unable to get the man free. Eventually two firefighters used a ladder to cut down the net and free the man.

According to KOMO, Seattle Police said they’re still deciding if to cite the man for any wrongdoing.
