INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 19, 2015)–  Nine children at a home based day care escaped injury when a van veered off the roadway and went through the front yard and into the front door of the  day care located in the 500 block of East Fall Creek Parkway North Drive.

The driver told police that he suffered a medical condition that caused him to lose control of his vehicle and was unable to gain control as it plowed into the front door of the home narrowly missing the children who were out playing in the yard.

The 78-year-old driver was not injured and was not cited from the incident although damage to the day care was listed around $10,000.
