Three people suffer minor injuries after car hit by train on near east side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 30, 2015) – A car was hit by a train on the near east side of Indianapolis Saturday afternoon.

The accident occurred near North Rural Street and Massachusetts Avenue just before 12:30 p.m.

Fortunately, no one was trapped in the vehicle and three people suffered minor injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
