Mother, son arrested in stabbing of two people in Bartholomew County

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (June 10, 2015)— A mother and her son were arrested after police said they stabbed the woman’s ex-boyfriend and his son Tuesday night.

Rachael Wilson, 43, and Cody Wilson, 18, were arrested on charges of felony battery.

Deputies with the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a report of a stabbing in the 17000 block of E 300 S around 9:46 p.m. When they arrived, they found two people suffering from stab wounds. They were transported to Columbus Regional Hospital.

Authorities said the man stabbed was Rachael Wilson’s ex-boyfriend. The other victim was the man’s son. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Authorities obtained a search warrant to gather evidence at the residence at E 300 S. Wilson was in the process of moving out of the residence at the time of the incident.
