Five vehicles damaged after hit-and-run crash at west side apartment complex

INDIANAPOLIS (June 11, 2015) – A car slammed into five vehicles at a west side apartment complex early Thursday morning before the driver left the scene, police say.

The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. at Wildwood Village Apartments in the 3500 block of Timbersedge Drive, according to an incident report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

A gray Ford Focus sedan plowed into the vehicles. Police were unable to find the driver of the car but said whoever was responsible left the keys in the vehicle.

Damage to the five vehicles that were hit totaled $70,000, according to the report. Damage to the car responsible for hitting them totaled $20,000.
