IMPD officer placed on paid administrative leave

INDIANAPOLIS (June 11, 2015) — Indianapolis Metropolitan police confirm an officer is on paid administrative leave.

Sources tell FOX59 Joseph Taylor was put on leave after an altercation with a relative. They say the victim was assaulted and being treated for injuries including facial fractures, internal bleeding and bruises.

Taylor has been with IMPD since 2009.
