Seven-month-old boy from Afghanistan brought to Riley Hospital for treatment

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 26, 2015) – A seven-month-old boy from Afghanistan is getting much-needed treatment at Riley Hospital for Children.

The Rotary Club of Brownsburg helped make the trip possible for Nima Akbarian to get treatment for a severe esophageal disorder.

He cannot get the treatment he needs in his homeland.

A group of doctors overseas also helped arrange the trip.
