Indianapolis police search for man who robbed southwest side bank

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 1, 2015) – Indianapolis police need your help identifying a bank burglary suspect.

According to IMPD, officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Kentucky Avenue on a report of a robbery at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, police were informed that a white male entered the business and passed a demand note to the bank employee implying he was armed. The bank employee complied with his demands, and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction of travel with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was described as a white male, in his 50’s, medium build measuring approximately 5’10”. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket or long-sleeved shirt, khaki pants, and black glasses.
