Juvenile arrested after armed robbery at Zionsville CVS; police say main suspect still at large

Police outside CVS on West Oak Street

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (July 23, 2015) – Police in Boone County are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery at CVS.

A black male entered the pharmacy at 1466 West Oak Street around 9:50 a.m.

He handed the pharmacist a note demanding prescription drugs. The note stated he had a gun, but no gun was ever shown.

He was wearing a checkered shirt and blue jacket, and he had short, curly hair. He fled the scene with narcotics to a vehicle waiting for him.

The vehicle crashed at West 96th Street and Ford Road, rolling through a fence.

A juvenile male was arrested, but police do not believe he is the suspect who robbed the pharmacy.
