Police catch suspect after robbery at BMO Bank on east side of Indianapolis

BMO bank robbery

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 28, 2015)— The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department apprehended a suspect shortly after a bank robbery on the east side of Indianapolis Tuesday.

Officers with IMPD and FBI reported to the BMO Bank at 1402 N. Shadeland Avenue around 10:54 a.m. in reference to the robbery.

Witnesses reported the suspect was seen heading northbound on Shadeland Avenue in a silver Dodge Nitro. The suspect was apprehended a short time later in the 2800 block of N. Shadeland Ave.
