Two ‘Block Burner’ gang members arrested in Louisville, including suspected leader

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 28, 2015)–  Two suspected “Block Burner” gang members who police say terrorized Indianapolis neighborhoods have been caught.

FBI officials say suspected gang leader William Brown, aka “Jeezy,” and 32-year-old William Dodd were caught in Louisville around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Both face drug conspiracy charges.

Dozens of other suspected members of the Block Burner gang were arrested last week in a massive warrant sweep in Marion County. Several Block Burner gang members arrested on illegal gun and drug charges.

Police say their territory was centered in one of the city’s crime focus areas 42nd Street and Post Road.
