INDIANAPOLIS (July 29, 2015) – One Indianapolis family is thanking a local police officer after he went above and beyond the call of duty.

After University of Indianapolis police officer Doug Doan met a young boy and learned of the tough times his family was facing, he decided to do something to help. The officer brought his son to the store to pick out some toys he thought the boy and his brothers would like.
