ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (August 7, 2015)– A Russian woman called the “Granny Ripper” is suspected of murdering 11 people over two decades and spreading victims’ body parts throughout St. Petersburg.

Tamara Samsonova, 68, allegedly confessed to the murders in written diaries, according to the Daily Mail. They were written in Russian, English and German. Between the entries about the alleged murders, Samsonova reportedly wrote about her day-to-day life.

Authorities say she was seen on CCTV cameras last week carrying parts of the most recent victim out of her home in a garbage bag.

After her arrest, Samsonova reportedly told police she killed Valentina Ulanova, 79,  following a fight over dirty dishes. Investigators believe she gave the victim an overdose of sleeping pills before dismembering her body with a hacksaw while she was still alive.

Samsonova is also suspected of killing her husband, who she reported as missing in 2005, and one of her former tenants.

Daily Mail reports that she is also believed to have eaten parts of her victims.
