BRAZIL, Ind. (Aug. 7, 2015) – A statewide Silver Alert is in effect as police search for a missing woman from Brazil, Ind.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Judith Purnhagen, 77, Brazil, who was last seen Thursday around 8:30 p.m. She may be in danger and in need of medical attention.

Purnhagen was last known to be wearing blue jogging pants and a jacket with a white t-shirt and brown slippers. She’s about 5’2” and 110 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes.

She’s believed to be traveling in a 2004, black 4-door Chevy Malibu with Indiana plate D129PW.

Anyone with information about Purnhagen’s whereabouts is asked to call the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at 812-446-2535, Ext 5.
