The Milk Bank celebrates its 10th birthday

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 15, 2015) -- The Milk Bank, a non-profit organization, is the first and only donor human milk bank in Indiana, is celebrating its 10th birthday.

The Milk Bank operates by receiving human milk from carefully screened donors. The milk is then pasteurized, frozen and distributed throughout the United States.

The Milk Bank has received milk donations from 30 states and supplied donor milk to over 100 hospitals in 28 states.
