Man robbed at gunpoint after arranging Craigslist sale in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Aug. 18, 2015) – A Lafayette man said two suspects robbed him at gunpoint Monday night during a deal arranged on Craigslist.

Officers were called to Cambridge Estates Apartments on State Road 38 East around 8:30 p.m. Monday, where a man told him he was robbed while trying to sell property. He’d agreed to meet the buyers at Cambridge Estates.

He said the men rubbed him in the parking lot and then ran off. Police were unable to locate the suspects, who appeared to be in their teens.
