NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (Aug. 20, 2015)– A major outdoor retailer opened its first store here in central Indiana, and people lined up as early as last night.

Cabela’s–a retail store that sells hunting, fishing, camping and other outdoor recreation merchandise– celebrates its grand opening Thursday morning in Noblesville, just off I-69. The new store is approximately 82,000 square feet.

People have been camping outside the new store since Wednesday night. The first 500 visitors will receive a gift card of up to $500.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was at 8 a.m. ahead of the store’s grand opening at 10 a.m.

The retailer will create hundreds of new jobs in Hamilton County.
