U.S. 52 reopens along I-65 detour after semi crash

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (Aug. 26, 2015) — U.S. 52 northbound reopened after a crash early Wednesday morning near the Boone-Clinton county line.

This happened along the I-65 detour. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office said a semi overturned. Indiana State Police and Clinton County sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene.

By 8:30 a.m., the two northbound lanes of U.S. 52 had reopened. One southbound lane was closed near 650 South and a second lane was also closed, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department. The road reopened around 11:20 a.m.
