SELLERSBURG, Ind. (Sept. 3, 2015)– A Sellersburg pastor is out on bond after being arrested Tuesday and charged with multiple felony counts of battery and neglect.

Gerald Harris, pastor of the Crossroads Baptist Church in Sellersburg, was arrested after Clarksville Police received a tip that Harris and a “helper” at the church, Christopher Williams, were abusing children at the boarding school facility. When police questioned the children at the school, whose ages range from 8 to 19, they learned that Harris and Williams had engaged in various acts of questionable punishments that left bruises and welts on the children.

Harris and Williams were both charged with multiple felony counts of battery and neglect and are currently out on bond pending trial.
