One person critical following east side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 20, 2015)–Indianapolis Police are on the scene of a person shot on the city’s east side Sunday evening.

Police and emergency crews were called to the area of East 36th Street and North Dearborn Street on a person shot.  When they arrived on scene, they found a person had been shot in the face.

The victim was rushed to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.

Police are searching the area for area and talking with witnesses as the investigation continues.
