Five cars broken into while people prayed at Indianapolis church

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 23, 2015) – Five cars were broken into at a northwest side Indianapolis church while people prayed Wednesday morning.

The incident happened between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. at Peniel Evangelical Church in the 3300 block of West 56th Street.

Someone smashed the vehicles’ windows and stole various items from the victims’ vehicles.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is urged to call Crime Stoppers of Indiana at (317) 262.TIPS (8477). Callers may also text “INDYCS” plus tip information to 274637 (CRIMES).
