Purdue University police and fire finish investigation regarding bomb threat on campus, nothing found

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (September 23, 2015) –Schleman Hall on Purdue University has resumed normal operations following a bomb threat Wednesday morning.

The Purdue University Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene around 11:45 a.m.

They finished their investigation after about two hours, and they did not find a bomb or any other explosive device.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Purdue Police Department at 765-494-8221. The WeTip anonymous hotline, which is used by all Greater Lafayette law enforcement agencies, also is available at 1-800-78CRIME (1-800-782-7463).
