Police seeking driver involved in north side hit-and-run

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Sept. 28, 2015)– On September 17, a bicyclist was riding on Kessler Boulevard, crossing Michigan Road when he was hit by a vehicle.

The bicyclist landed on the road and had serious leg and arm injuries. He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition.

Witnesses told police they saw a white, newer-model Chevrolet Cobalt or Chevrolet Cruze stop and check on the victim. When police arrived the driver was not on scene. The driver never made themselves known to police or EMS personnel.

Investigators hope the driver will come forward to make a statement.
