Indiana University police investigate rape on campus

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (September 29, 2015) – Indiana University police are conducting an investigation in which a student was raped twice by another student.

The first incident took place on September 22 in Wright Quad at approximately 4:30 p.m.

The second incident also took place in Wright Quad two days later at 9:41 p.m.

The victim did not report any physical injuries to IUPD.

The victim and accused are acquainted. The accused student is 20-years-old and his identity is known to IUPD.

IUPD does not believe that there is an ongoing threat to the IU community.

This is an active investigation and details are very limited.
