BLOOMINGTON, Ind., (October 2, 2015) - Fans advised to arrive early and take alternate routes to Bloomington to avoid road construction for Saturday’s game.

It is the first IU football sellout game in 5 years and it’s coming at a time when construction along State Road 37 is in full swing.

That’s why Indiana University Athletics is working with the Indiana Department of Transportation and I69 Development Partners to make sure fans traveling to Bloomington have a great experience!

IU Athletics has sent emails to ticket holders notifying them of the road construction.

Traffic signals have been adjusted and real time traffic tweets along with live text updates will be available for fans on the way into Bloomington.

IU Athletics say their staffers even test drove the alternate routes themselves so fans don’t miss a single touchdown, tackle or turnover.

“We want a full lively happy crowd on Saturday for a chance to upset the Buckeyes, because they are truly the 12th man on the field for any team playing at home,” said Associate Athletic Director Jeremy Gray.

Fans are encouraged to leave home early for the 3:30 game.

Lots will open at 7 in the morning and will remain open overnight.
