Man dies after crashing into Flo’s Diner in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ind. (October 5, 2015) – An 88-year-old man died after crashing into a Columbus diner Monday morning.

The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. at Flo’s Diner in the 6300 block South Jonesville Road.

The victim, later identified as Columbus resident Noble Southern, was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It is believed that a pre-existing medical condition contributed to the crash and death, and it appears that his death was not caused by the crash.

Identification will be released after his family is notified.
