Stolen truck slams into Anderson home during police chase

ANDERSON, Ind. (October 10. 2015)–Three men in a stolen truck slammed into an Anderson home early Saturday morning.

An elderly man was sleeping in the front room when the truck crashed into the house in the 100 block of East 17th Street around 3 a.m.

Family members say the man only remembers waking up on his bed outside his home.

A woman in a side bedroom was knocked out of her bed.  Both were taken to the hospital and were treated and released.

Indiana State Police began the pursuit in Lapel.  It continued through Pendleton and ended up in Anderson.

Officers say speeds reached as high as 120 mph during the pursuit.

The three men in the truck were taken to the hospital and then placed under arrest.

The impact of the crash caused the front portion of the home to collapse.

Red Cross is assisting the couple.
