At least one employee is injured following a west side robbery

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 16, 2015) – Three people were pistol-whipped in a robbery at a grocery store on the city’s west side.

Police were called to the El Toros grocery store at 4112 North High School Road around 2:30 p.m.

According to witnesses, four men entered the store with handguns, and they demanded money from the cash drawer.

There was a language barrier between the suspects and the employees. The suspects got frustrated, so they started robbing customers inside the store.

They pistol-whipped three people. The victims were taken to St. Vincent Hospital, and they required stitches.

Police are still searching for the suspects.
