Woman sought after escaping from Marion County Jail using another inmate’s identity

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 16, 2015) – A woman escaped from the Marion County Jail by using another inmate’s identity, according to jail officials.

Jessica M. Stringer, 34, left the jail Thursday by using the arm band and information of an inmate with a similar appearance. Pending charges against Stringer included possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, false informing and possession of paraphernalia.

After her escape, an arrest warrant was issued on three additional counts: escape, identity deception and forgery.

Stringer was initially arrested on Sept. 7, 2015.
