2 dead after house fire in Clinton County

CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (Oct. 23, 2015)– A house fire in Clinton County killed two people Friday.

Authorities say a house caught fire and exploded at County Road 500 West and County Road 500 South around 3:15 p.m.

Drivers along I-65 spotted the fire and reported it to authorities.

The identities of the two found dead will be determined in their autopsies. Firefighters have not been able to contact family members yet.
