Detroit, MI (CNN) — A Central Michigan University graduate is fed up with our Detroit Lions, and has a plan to fix the team. Buy them.

Jeff Tarnowski has started a GoFundMe account trying to raise $1 billion to buy the team.

Tarnowski, who says he studied business at CMU, said on the post:

Let’s face it: The Detroit Lions need a new owner. I’m not going to rant, we all know the situation. Somebody needs to do something about this monstrosity. I am willing to make that sacrifice for all of you before this Honolulu Blue blood is no longer inherited by our offspring.

As of 8 a.m. on Thursday, more than $1,800 has been put toward the goal.

Tarnowski does have a plan for what to do with the money if the deal doesn’t go through.

At the end of the day, if the Ford’s reject my gracious offer to spare them from the witch hunt that is brewing in the D, then we’ll at least get some serious money for Detroit charities.
