INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 31, 2015) —  A 20-year-old man is in good condition after being shot in the shoulder early Saturday morning on the city’s east side.

According to police, the shooting happened during a Halloween party in the 7300 block of East 14th Street around 3 a.m.

The detective confirmed the shooter was an adult, and he said most people at the party were over the age of 18.

Upon arrival, the victim was awake and talking. The victim was taken to Community East Hospital.

It was originally reported that the boy shot was 15-years-old, but detectives received new information about the victim. We’ve been told he was actually 20-years-old, and the story was updated to reflect that new information.
