Two pedestrians hit, critically injured in separate accidents

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 1, 2015) — Two people are in critical condition after being hit by cars in two separate accidents early Sunday morning.

The first accident happened shortly after 1 a.m. in the 5100 block of Georgetown Road.  Police said the driver is cooperating and alcohol is not believed to be a factor. The person struck is in critical condition.  The victim has not yet been identified.

The second accident happened around 2 a.m. on East 42nd Street between Post Road and Franklin Road. The victim is in critical condition. Police say it’s possible the victim may have been hit twice. The driver remained on scene. IMPD said alcohol could be a factor in this crash.
