18-year-old killed in shooting on northeast side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 1, 2015) — An 18-year-old man is dead after a shooting on the city’s northeast side, according to IMPD. The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of Trilbey Drive.

When police arrived at he scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound in a green car in The Hacienda apartment complex parking lot.

Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.  He was later identified as 18-year-old Raymond Alvarez Jr.

Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances that led up to the shooting and have not yet released any suspect information.
