WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (November 2, 2015) – Indiana State Police arrested two Washington County residents after officers discovered dozens of marijuana plants in their home.
Officers began investigating illegal drug activity Saturday morning at a residence in Campbellsburg, Indiana.
The residence was occupied by Cory W. Miller, 35, Helen M. Miller, 33, Cynthia Johnson, 19, a six-year-old child, and a one-year-old child.
Officers obtained a search warrant for the residence. When they entered the home, they discovered over sixty marijuana plants, marijuana growing equipment and numerous Tramadol pills, a schedule 4 narcotic that was obtained without a prescription.
Police arrested both Cory and Helen Miller. They each face several charges including:
- Possession of a controlled substance without prescription
- Neglect of a dependent (two counts)
- Cultivating marijuana
- Dealing in marijuana
- Possession of paraphernalia
Both individuals are being held in the Washington County Jail.
