Election Day 2015: Polls close, low voter turnout

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 3, 2015) –The polls closed at 6 p.m. today, and despite abnormally warm November weather, it appears that voter turnout was low.

Out of the 439 precincts counted in Marion County, there was only 22.5% voter turnout.

Central Indiana residents who made it to the polls voted on several  key races, including the Indianapolis mayoral race, the Beech Grove mayoral race, the Lawrence mayoral race, the Kokomo mayoral race, the Anderson mayoral race, and the Bloomington mayoral race.
