CHICAGO (Nov. 5, 2015) – The death of an aspiring model has prompted a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who killed her.

Kaylyn Pryor, 20, was shot to death Monday while visiting her grandmother in Englewood, according to WGN. A 15-year-old she was with was also shot and critically hurt. Investigators don’t believe Pryor was the intended target of the shooting.

In September, Pryor won the Mario Trioci “Mario, Make Me a Model” competition, a month-long event that included a fashion show and celebration on Sept. 25. Pryor was one of seven finalists selected among 500 applicants.

She was about to sign her first modeling contract, WGN reported.
