Police tape surrounds investigation scene on IU campus

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (November 13, 2015) – Police are searching for two males after a student at Indiana University Bloomington campus was attacked in Dunn’s Woods early Friday morning.

The school says a woman was assaulted by two men with a sharp object, possibly a knife. Although it is unclear when the incident occurred, IU reported the assault just before 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say the victim was a student and suffered minor cuts. The victim was taken to IU Health by her friend to be checked out, but refused medical treatment.

According to police, the incident happened in Dunn’s Woods, near the Rose Well House. Police searched the area, but they could not locate the suspects. Officers are no longer actively searching for the males.

Police say the suspects are two college-aged males, one wearing a red sweatband on his wrist, the other armed with a sharp object or knife.
