INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 18,2015)- The Mozel Sanders Foundation will serve close to 40,000 meals on Thanksgiving Day.

Feeding thousands of people isn’t cheap, and the organization is still in need of financial support for this year’s dinner. Several Hardee’s locations in central Indiana are taking part in a special “Rise 4 Hunger” event on Wednesday, November 18, benefiting the Mozel Sanders Foundation.

From 6-10:30 a.m. all Indianapolis Hardee’s locations will offer sausage biscuits for $1, with 100% of the proceeds from sausage biscuit sales going directly to the foundation.

Hardee’s restaurants in Danville, Plainfield, Whiteland, Greenfield, Lebanon, Fishers, and Brownsburg are also taking part in the promotion.

Canisters will also be set up inside the restaurants through the weekend so that customers can continue to donate. The Mozel Sanders Foundation is still looking for volunteers to help prepare and deliver meals on Thanksgiving Day to its 40 satellite locations.
